This is one historical aircraft. This vintage aircraft was largely manufactured in the 1930s to 1940s and it mainly served as an aircraft trainer for the United States Air Force.

Today, most of them are restored to their original status and being used as a recreational sport. There are some who prefer to use it as crop dusters since its design and make is just right for the specific job.

The Boeing Stearman Model B75 is powered by a Lycoming R-680 engine. Most of the aviation manufacturers believe the engines are one of the most dependable and stable during that time that Lycoming produced more of this type of engine even after the World War II. Even other aircrafts manufacturers aside from Boeing installed it in their aircrafts such as Cessna and Curtis-Wright and a few more others during that time.

A website is offering the 9th of the last Boeing Stearman that was manufactured by Boeing Inc. It carries a price tag of USF$130,000. Check out the full details here.
