Private Aircrafts under $2 Million

It is quite expensive to own a personal aircraft. Although there are a few out there that can be purchased when you have $2 million to spare, some of them are still in the production phase so the delivery may take a year or so depending on the waiting list.
However, since the global economy is not that good, expect the list to be short and besides some aircraft companies are closing down, you might want to see if they are going to sell their fleet, you can get a good bargain.
Here are some of those private jets that can be acquired without spending above $2M. Most of them are considered as VLJs or very light jets:
The D-Jet from Diamond Aircraft Industries. When it first came out, they projected that they will be selling it not more than $1M but due to inflation and other economic factors by 2006, this 5-seater aircraft can be purchased for $1.38.

The Victory Aircraft from Epic Aircraft. One of the first few VLJ’s that came out in the market. Just like D-Jet, it is a 4-5 seater private jet that is being sold under $1 million dollars. Epic is accepting delivery positions today.

The Cirrus SR20/22 Series from Cirrus Design. These are piston aircrafts that were originally offered under $500,000. The SR22 Generation 3 is a four-seater aircraft which can be flown at a cruise speed of 213 miles per hour. Cirrus kept on upgrading their piston aircrafts.
