There is a program conceptualized and developed by one of the top technology research company in the aviation industry called PASS or the Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey that ensures the safety of passengers aboard an aircraft.

The Safety Survey will perform a comprehensive check on the capability status of the different systems and computer programs used by an aircraft. They will also check on the pilot’s physical and mental condition by re-checking their training and medical records and other essential factors that could influence the pilots flying skills.
The PASS program will then make a detailed report and only then can the charter company can give the green signal for flight scheduling.
The best thing about this concept is that this is done voluntarily. It gives the would-be passengers the assurance that the charter companies they are dealing with are very much focused on the security and safety of their passengers.
Wyvern Aviation Safety Intelligence developed PASS. They are the aviation industry’s main source of safety information. It is now under Charter X Company. Get more details on PASS.
