Flying enthusiasts and operators are going back to using turboprops since they are fuel-efficient. The noise is now more bearable and the vibration being felt by passengers inside the aircraft is more tolerable now when you think of the fuel cost.

These turboprops gave way to new jets, which are quieter, and has a smoother ride these past years. Some of the turboprops manufacturers and retailers closed down because of the decrease in demand. More passengers naturally prefer a more comfortable flight especially for longer destinations.

Even airliners are planning to put them back in active service, anything to combat the fuel price increase and cut down the loss.

Manufacturers are quite surprise that the turboprops are outselling some regional jets in sales. People are getting practical and these manufacturers are also getting the vibe and so some of them are thinking of designing new aircrafts that are turboprops but with less noise and vibration so it can be more comfortable for the flying commuters.
