The ForeFlight Mobile 2.0, an iPhone/iPod software is one of the best things that happened to private jet pilots. Pilots do rely heavily on the aircrafts’ excellent condition, however, pilots also wants to have the best possible assistance prior to the flight. It is a very user friendly program which gives the pilot the necessary info they need before going to the cockpit. All these info are accessible within just a few clicks from their iPod.
This application, the ForeFlight Mobile 2.0 which is available at Apple’s Application Store can be purchased at USD$69.99.
Pilots can accessed different aviation essentials through the ForeFlight Mobile 2.0 such as the Aviation Weather which gives them an update on the METARs and TAFs plus real-time images from different local and international airports; a very intelligent Search engine, which automatically search for anything that is connected to aviation; assigned Air Traffic Control updated routes and the distances between airports; an Auto Favorite Folder, it automatically save the pilot’s favorite data and site; Airport and Approach Route Diagrams and many more.
Flying will never be the same again with the ForeFlight Mobile 2.0. It was created with iPod in mind so this application fits the device to a perfect T. There is no such thing as generic or standard use for any mobile which sometime screws up the application program whenever there is a device conflict or glitch.
