Another new dimension in the world of private flying is in-flight catering.
It is not enough that passengers are served with hot entrees during their flight. They are now given a wide variety of choices that are very global. The menu provided for the discriminating taste of the passengers comprised of a large selection of local and international dishes. Some of them, you never thought that you can order during the flight.
It has been a running joke in every airplane scene in movies or TV that airline food is horrendous. This scene will never have the chance of happening in a private jet whose in-flight catering are handled by experts in that field. There are companies out there who specialize in providing catering services to those who are in the move. Try and take a peek on the menu of the following sites:

The food either Gourmet or traditional home-cooked like meals are prepared by professionals who has so many years of jet plane food experience under their belt. You may even arrange for a favorite famous chef to prepare the meals you want.
With private jets sky is really the only limit.

Online booking is quite a necessity these days. If you are a frequent Internet user, you can notice several travel agency ads in a lot of websites and there is the emergence of travel search engines as well.

It may sound as if it will make the job of choosing the best possible price quote easier but sometimes if you do not know how to search for it, it is rather time-consuming as well. It is, of course, better than going through the phone directory or physically visiting all the travel agencies around your area. What I am pointing at is that you have to be aware that there are hundred of sites in the Internet and half of them are just the middleman or the third party agent.
You really have to go to the main source of the services offered. Most of these aircraft companies may it be for private jets or commercial airliner can offer you fares and packages that are lower than those offered in travel agencies. The difference lies only in the additional perks and services that these travel agencies are giving, that is if they are offering some.
Basically, when it just goes down to the fare itself, it gets more expensive if you go directly to travel agencies. Do not be misled with their websites claim that they have the most economical or lowest fee. Try searching for a price quote directly from the aircraft company and another from a travel agency and you would get different price quotes.
One more important difference is that many aircraft carriers do not give all the possible flying options they have to the third-party sites. This means that even if you get similar price quotes from both companies; you will not get the same available seats options or aircraft choices. These aircraft companies will make sure even if they are associated with different travel agencies, they want to maintain a certain service that only they can provide.
Go directly to the main source of services to get the best possible deal.

Looking for a unique way to spend romantic weekend with your partner? It could be an anniversary, a birthday gift, a Valentine’s Day celebration or just a date to impress the love of your life. There is no better way to do it but via private jets.

One main benefit of flying private is that the only other people onboard with you are the flight crew. You can even make arrangements for your flight to be undisturbed. Most of this private jet companies offers a confidentiality clause in their contracts.

Not to mention the increasing stats they have for baggage lost.
You can orchestrate your romantic getaway with more precision because you get to choose what airport you want to land in. You have more aircraft options to choose from. Some cabins are much spacious that you can arrange for a romantic environment and it can be achieved effortlessly. Enjoy the sunset or sunrise while sipping champagne while on your way to the most romantic place of your choice, Paris or Venice perhaps.
Nothing can be more private than a private jet.

One way of traveling via private jets with a world-class service without purchasing the aircraft by whole or through fractional ownership is by acquiring a card membership.

Members will be immune to uncomplicated airport business procedures but with an affordable price than entering into a fractional ownership that is usually laden with hidden costs. A member also will never have to deal with maintenance expenses and crew arrangement. Everything will already be taken cared of and the member’s only duty is to choose from the options that are offered to them.
Private companies even categorized the kind of membership one can enrolled into. It depends on the flying hours one usually spends in a year. That way no wasting of money and one can fully benefit with the type of card they have. Some even offer additional users or an extension for the card privileges.
Once enrolled in a private jet card membership, one can enjoy the 24/7 accesses to the aircraft services that the company provides. Choose the type of aircraft, schedule the itinerary, arrange for the in-flight entertainment system or business equipment you want installed and choose the airport you want to land in.
It is a cost-effective wise alternative way of flying first class without the complexities of commercial flights. Some even offer additional users or an extension for the card privileges.

Not every aircraft company will offer you the same benefits so when booking your flight make sure you go for that extra mile that these companies professed doing in each of their flight.

It is during the consultation phase that you get to ask for it. When choosing the type of aircraft you like to travel with, make sure you tell them what kind of onboard entertainment you want to have. If you are into movies, give them the specifics so you’ll be guaranteed of the right kind of movies you want to watch. That also goes for the music you want and the reading materials you prefer to read during the flight.
If you are traveling with your whole staff and you’d like to have meetings and in-flight discussions then tell them about it so they can arrange a virtual boardroom in the sky complete with the necessary office equipment in the plane and if you need privacy, inform them ahead of time so that it will be treated with full confidentiality.
They also offer a culinary scrumptious experience. If you are adventurous, then let them surprise you but if you have your own preference, let them know so that they will be able to serve you what you really want. They can make arrangements with your favorite restaurant or your chef.
They can also offer you their help with your hotel bookings. Most aircraft companies do have a special arrangement with different hotels around the world. The best thing about these private jet companies is that you can make arrangements within four hours of notice, some even less.
So, next time you fly, scrap the idea of commercial flights, even if its first or business class because it won’t immune you to delayed flights and lost luggage’s.

As more and more travelers are opting for flying via private jets, another aircraft company, SkyBridge Private Air is offering one-way flights service called “One-Way-Ok”. No short or long-term ownership arrangement or membership fee.

Customers for Private Jets are Recession proof and Jet Charter companies as well. Despite the US economy downturn Charter air flights soar to new hights as reported by Blue Star Jets. The company happily posted their most profitable month ever on customers for private jets (46% increase on the month, and 27% increase on the year).
While other seem to stumble and went into agreement with news about the poor economy Blue Star Jets flys above the noise and laughs all the way to the bank.
That companies that cater to the affluent are currently striving is actually no news to me. As a publisher of a luxury lifestyle magazine I have quite some insight into some inner workings.
It is actually very simple: People who have money, have money and could not care less about the economie. Therefore Private charter air flights have seen a spectacluar growth in the last year and the first months of this year.
The lack of service offered from usual airline also helps here. It is often actually cheaper to just charter a jet and get on with your business intead of waiting in line and admiring the screens with cancelled flights.
While outright buying a private jet is nice, but somewhat harsh on your cash. If you charter a private jet you actually enjoy the same prestige as if you shelled out a few millions for your own bomber.
Wealthy families and individuals realized that delays and cancellations can’t be swayed with a first class ticket and turned to charter air flights last year. Some of these customers are taking advantage of private jet shared rides, one ways, and special routes that can be had for some nice discounts.
“We have never seen as many families get together to share a private jet than we did over the ‘07 holidays. People are finding ways to make private jet charters affordable. Going commercial has become way too unpredictable for the first-class traveler.” Ricky Sitomer, CEO, Blue Star Jets.
Charters air flights’ recent boom has also helped major jet manufacturers like Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier to sell more vessels. The General Aviation Manufacturers Association reports that worldwide business jet deliveries rose 28.4 per cent in 2006 to a record of 1,138 in 2007 from 886 in the previous year.
You can find more information on Blue Star Jets on their website.
