More VIP Luxury International Exhibits Coming Up

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 4th November 2008

The latest fuel price cut is encouraging people from the aviation community to go on, celebrate and organize trade exhibits in different parts of the globe.  One of them is the Gulf VIP International Exhibit. It will still be held next year specifically in March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. However, the organizers are so excited for this event and are trying to encourage more people to get involved as early as now.

This Gulf VIP event will not only be about aviation. It will share the spotlight with luxury yachts and elite cars. Organizers promised that there will be a display of several aircraft interiors as this will be a chance for manufacturers to showcase their recent innovations.

The Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority teamed up with the Business Conventions International France to come up with this one-of-a-kind luxury essentials event. They are expecting around 150 exhibitors plus hundreds of VIP guests along with thousands of visitors and participants to gather in the 3500 sq. m. venue on March 3-5, 2009.

I suggest you better check out your travel options if you are interested to go to Bahrain next year.

Aircraft Interior Concepts Reeking in Luxury

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 22nd October 2008

Private jets may look magnificent and intimidating on the outside but it’s the interior that makes all the difference to the passengers. They spend more time looking at every nook and cranny the whole time they are on flight.

Let us take a look at one of the leading aircraft interior designers who outfitted several luxurious and state of the art private jets.

RWR Designs has a customer list that includes business tycoons, Heads of State, Hollywood A-listers, Sports superstars and the privileged elite. Richard W. Roseman is synonymous to unique and elegant designs.

At RWR Designs, they do not only offer amazing interior concepts but they pioneered a new approach of easing the designing, engineering and certification process for aircraft interior structure. They call this service, E-FIRST wherein aircraft owners need not wait for the whole complete design specification or get a completion center before anything happens. The moment the floorplan has been approved, engineering starts.  This designing process will make sure that the moment the aircraft is ready for interior configuration, the design is already ready for construction.

Here are more of their interior concepts:

They also are using WRL Custom Luxury Accessories to make every space in the aircraft look sleek and stylish.

Flying via Airbus A318 Elite

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 1st September 2008

Airbus A318 Elite is also known as the mini-airbus as it is the smallest of the Airbus Business Jet Fleet. Before Airbus designed the Elite version, Airbus 318 was specifically built for a 109 passengers and to replaced main competitor Boeing’s 737 in the market.

By November of 2005, Airbus decided to built a VIP configured version of the passenger aircraft and called it Airbus A318 Elite. Airbus came out with two types of design layout depending on the number of passengers. One has a capacity of seating 14 and the other one was for 18 passengers. TWO CFM engines power these aircrafts, which was designed for medium ranged flights or up to 4000 nautical miles.

Airbus has a generic template for the luxurious Airbus Elite but any future owner can make their own modifications: color, texture, amenities.

Take a peek on what it is like to be inside an Airbus A318 Elite, check out this video I got from youtube:

Inside A VIP Configured Airbus Jet

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 15th August 2008

What is inside those VIP-configured Airbus jets? As the super rich prefer wider and bigger jets these days, the ordinary mortals are quite curious on how these affluent people do with that much space, after all, planes has just one primary purpose and that is to fly to a certain destination.

The Airbus Jets particularly the ACJ or the Airbus Corporate Jet and the A380 are quite the favorites of these billionaires. They do have a wider cabin space than and they have a massive area for baggage, which is a lot bigger than those of the competing jets.

We all heard of the Flying Palace and how much the Prince was willing to spend in designing the interiors of the plane. We can just imagine how luxurious and grand it would be.

The one on the left above was created by popular French aircraft interior designer, Jacques Pierrejean for an Airbus A340, which was reportedly for then Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to use for local and international trips. The one on the right was designed by Edese Doret Industrial Design for an Airbus A380 which is a dining room for a party of 14 with 42-inch LCD monitors on both sides of the area. This one was reportedly for the Flying Palace.

Boeing Jets Aircraft Interiors: Executive Versions

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 5th August 2008

Today, one thing that differentiates the ultra-rich to the rest of the affluent community is by owning an aircraft. Many can book or charter a flight but few can say that they own it. However, owning one is not enough. There is the thing called exclusivity, which means stamping it with their own distinctive style.

Here are some of the best aircraft interiors in some of the Boeing’s VIP configured jets:

Take a peek on Wayne Huizenga’s BBJ. It is an executive version of a commercial Boeing 737-700. It has several modifications to give way to more luxurious facilities and amenities for a private jet service. It can seat around 24 people or so in lavish surroundings.  This Boeing Business Jet aircraft interior are just right for Huizenga’s Miami Dolphins crew who are in need of pampering during flight before and after a game shuttling from different cities in the U.S.

Many would be owners are already waiting for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Jet to be delivered to them. Boeing already received several orders for the executive version of the much-anticipated 787. The aircraft manufacturer released concept interiors for the 787 BBJs. One of their completion centers is Jet Aviation Basel. They are responsible for the different configurations to make the aircraft more VIP ready.

The 747-8 Boeing Intercontinental executive version concept aircraft interiors that, were shown in EBACE or the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition in Geneva shows an elegant dining area and ladder leading to the library. A Boeing 747-8 Jet has a huge and wide interior space just like the mansions of the rich and famous.

There is definitely no limit in making the lives of these ultra high net worth individuals more easier, comfortable and luxurious.
