The world of Private Jets

A Closer Look on Gulfstream G650

Posted by Jess Dayuno on September 10th, 2008

One of the much-anticipated private jets in the general aviation world is the Gulfstream G650 as it will be the most expensive long-ranged business jet come 2012.

When the makers of the G650 promised that it will have the largest, some are a little bit skeptic about it. What do you mean by large and how large is large? Well, apparently, a 6-footer will be able to stand inside the cabin without bending. They said passengers would be breathing 100 % fresh air while they are thousand of miles above so how fresh is fresh and they even surpassed airliners altitude? Gulfstream’s installed a new advanced system to regulate vented lavatory, which is responsible for the air inside the aircraft. This new system will provide a quieter way of distributing air. The altitude of 51,000 feet, which is G650’s ceiling, would be lowered to a mere 4,850 feet. It is quite remarkable because it would be less stressful to the passengers. They would also have bigger windows, which do a lot to those passengers who do not like to be cooped inside an aircraft for so long, and it would mean more natural light inside the cabin.

What else makes the Gulfstream G650 different from the other aircrafts in the market? The ultimate reason is the speed. It would definitely be the fastest in the sky by 2012 in the world of aviation except in the military.

Basically, if the G550 was a runway hit to flying enthusiasts then the G650 surpassed all the incredible features of the G550.
